PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication apparatus which improves a recognition rate of a speech signal termination in the mobile communication apparatus, in particular in the mobile communication apparatus which transmits and receives a speech with digital modulation waves. SOLUTION: A mobile communication apparatus is one which encodes a speech and wireless-transmits by a digital modulation, and is configured by a speech encoding means for encoding speech data in units of a frame; a termination detecting means for detecting a speech transmission termination; and a transmission frame generating means in which the frame is structured by a super frame composed of a plurality of frames. When the termination detecting means detects a termination of a speech transmission, a predetermined bit of each frame is set to a 'speech transmission termination state' during at least one super frame period after detection.
