PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying a working medium to a hydraulically-operated consumer while controlling the pressure of the working medium by reducing or limiting the pressure within a nominal pressure range in relation to control pressure so that the maximum pressure range is set between the nominal pressure range and a system pressure value. SOLUTION: In the case of the change of a control value being the same, the pressure of the working medium within the maximum pressure range is changed greater than that within the nominal pressure range.
