PURPOSE: An air conditioner installation structure is provided to firmly support upper and lower portions of the main body of air conditioner, while allowing the main body to be installed in a convenient manner. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner installation structure comprises a main body(60) having a heat exchanger(70) and a blower(72); an installation plate(80) fixed to a wall(A) so as to support the main body; an upper mounting unit including an upper suspension part(92) protruded with a tilt from the upper rear portion of the main body toward the lower rear portion of the main body, and an upper holder part(94) protruded forward with a tilt from the upper portion of the installation plate such that the upper suspension part gets caught at the upper holder part; and a lower mounting unit including an elastic protrusion(102) protruded from the lower portion of the main body, and an insertion groove(104) formed at the lower portion of the installation plate, in such a manner that the elastic protrusion is inserted into the insertion groove by an elastic force when a predetermined force is applied to the elastic protrusion, thus moving the elastic protrusion to move toward the lower portion of the installation plate.
