<p>A disposable male hygiene device (11) comprises a longitudinal element which is adapted, in use, to surround the body of a penis in the flaccid state during urination by a male person in the upright position and to extend beyond the extremity of the penis a given distance so as to direct a stream of urine exiting from the device through a trajectory which ensures that the urine is received within a urine receiving means. The device has a laminar structure which comprises a skin-contacting layer composed of a urine absorbing material and an outer layer (17) of a water-repellent material. The layer of urine absorbing material can be separated from the outer layer (17) following use for disposal by flushing.</p> |
