PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat sensitive recording method which can form a reloadable hidden image of multicolor such as multicolored or fully colored display or iridescent display using a conventional hard technology such as thermal head. SOLUTION: A reversible heat sensitive recording layer contains a coloring compound and a color-developing agent and shows a color-lost state at a temperature lower than a color-developing temperature. In the reversible heat sensitive recording medium, a reversible heat sensitive liquid crystal layer wherein a cholesteric liquid phase, which reflects light of different visible wavelength region according to a temperature and an isotropic phase, which assumes transparent achromatic color, can be formed in a temperature region where the recording layer develops color below the recording layer. In the reversible heat sensitive recording method, the recording medium is used to form a reloadable multicolored hidden image. |
