PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution supply apparatus capable of using a solution in a tank without wasting the same while preventing the mixing of air bubbles with the solution supplied to a coating apparatus. SOLUTION: In solution supply apparatuses 1A and 1B for sending a colorant to the coating apparatus 20 from either one of a plurality of pressure tanks 2 and 2 through a predetermined flow passage, intermediate tanks 3 and 3 are arranged on the way of the flow passage 9 for connecting a plurality of the pressure tanks 2 and 2 to the coating apparatus 20 at every pressure tank 2. Sensors 15 detect whether the amounts of the solutions stored in the intermediate tanks 3 and 3 are a preset lower limit value or more and the signals corresponding to the detection results of the sensors are outputted to a system control unit 6. On the basis of the output signals, it is discriminated whether the amounts of the solutions in the intermediate tank 3 and 3 are the lower limit value or more and, when the amounts of the solutions are judged to be below the lower limit value, predetermined processing related to the changeover of the pressure tanks 2 and 2 is performed.
