METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ANION EXCHANGER AND ANION EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a new anion exchanger by which the clumping caused by the surface electric charge of an ion exchange resin can be reduced. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the new anion exchanger comprises reacting an organic molecule having an OH group with the cross- linked copolymer containing as a constituent the repeating unit shown by the general formula (1) (R is a 1-8C straight chain alkylene group, a 1-8C cyclic hydrocarbon group or a 1-8C alkoxymethylene group. Hydrogen at any position of a benzene ring can be substituted with R and hydrogen at another position of the benzene ring can be substituted with an alkyl group or a halogen atom; Z is a halogen atom; m is an integer of >=1) and then reacting the cross-linked copolymer thus modified with the compound shown by the general formula (2) (R1, R2 and R3 are each a 1-20C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group).
