PURPOSE:To provide a forward/reverse rotating unit for capacitor run type single phase motor in which the switching relay is protected against layer short circuit and fusion of contact. CONSTITUTION:A switching relay R1 connects a drive capacitor C alternately with a main winding L1 and an auxiliary winding L2 connected in series with a capacitor run type single phase motor 1 thus rotating the motor 1 forward or reversely. A control section 2 controls a conduction relay R2 to be interrupted before the switching relay R1 is switched thus blocking the current flowing into the switching relay R1 at the time of operation thereof. |
