<p>A novel glucose dehydrogenase, which is an enzyme having a high substrate specificity, being economically produced, being free from any effect of dissolved oxygen in a sample and having a particularly high heat stability, can be obtained by culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus <i>Burkholderia</i> and being capable of producing glucose dehydrogenase and then collecting the glucose dehydrogenase from the culture medium and/or the microbial cells.</p> |
