PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enjoy a variety of broadcasting signals, communication signals and accumulated record signals at an arbitrary location (room). SOLUTION: A satellite broadcasting signal 1, a TV broadcasting signal 2, a CATV broadcasting signal 3 and a telephone channel signal 4 are received and demodulated at an external signal receiving and demodulating unit 51 of a home server 5. The external signal receiving and demodulating unit 51 leads a broadcasting channel selected according to a user's request to a digital signal processing unit 52 where it is converted to a common data signal. Going through a signal control unit 54, whether the video signal converted to a common data signal is wireless or wired is selected based on an address of a display unit 6, modulated by a wireless control unit 58, and the signal is transmitted from an antenna unit 60 to the display which issued the request signal. The video signal transmitted from the home server 5 is received by an antenna unit of the display 6, video signal is demodulated at the wireless control unit, and then supplied to a display (signal converter) recognition control unit. If the signal is a video signal with an address of the display added thereon, it is displayed at the display unit via the signal processing unit. |
