PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidity adjustable building capable of adjusting humidity at necessary parts inside of a building with the simple structure, and to provide a humidity adjusting building material to be desirably used for the humidity adjustable building. SOLUTION: A Japanese room 11 is provided with walls 52 rising in four sides of a floor 51, and provided with a ceiling 53 at an upper end of each wall 52. The ceiling 53 is formed by laminating a grain-pattern water vapor permeable decorative material (wood grain-pattern finish) on a lower surface of a gypsum board including the diatomaceous earth as a humidity adjusting building material.
