PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column support structure capable of preventing a steering column lower bracket from leaving a steering column hanger when a temporary impact force from ahead is inputted and ensuring a stroke of a collapse part for reducing a secondary impact force. SOLUTION: A steering column upper 4 and a steering column lower 5 are screw-fitted in the steering column hanger 14 through a steering column upper bracket 9 and a steering column lower bracket 10, a cutout section 12 for screw- fitting in the steering column hanger 14 is formed in a front end part of the steering column lower bracket 10, and a locking means for preventing the travel of the cutout section 12 in the direction of leaving is provided between the steering column hanger 14 and the steering column lower bracket 10. |
