PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle stay for a terminal convenient to use a portable terminal on a vehicle. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle stay for a terminal is to mount the portable terminal having built-in functions equivalent to those of a personal computer on the vehicle, and the on-vehicle stay is characterized by providing a cradle supporting mechanism 11 to almost horizontally support at least the bottom surface of a cradle forming a pedestal for the portable terminal while having a built-in connector connectable to the external interface of the portable terminal and a fixing mechanism 12 to fix it to the dashboard or the glove box of the vehicle.
