VACUUM CLEANER HAVING CREVICE BAR WITH VARIABLE TYPE SUCTION PORT

PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to reduce the cleaning time and to improve the cleaning efficiency by expanding or shrinking a volume of a dust suction head according to an area to be cleaned. CONSTITUTION: A suction head(1) is expanded or shrunk according to an area to be cleaned. An output of a motor connected to a motor control section is varied based on the volume of the suction head(1). A spur gear(5) connected to a rack gear(6) is installed in the suction head(1). The spur gear(5) receives a rotational force from a worm gear(4) connected to a motor(3). A beam(7), which is linearly reciprocated according to the rotation of the rack gear(6), enables the suction head(1) to be expanded or shrunk. The output of the motor is automatically varied based on the variation of the suction head(1). A crevice brush(2) is mounted at a front of the suction head(1).
