A nucleating agent comprising 100 parts by weight of a dibenzylidenesorbitol compound and either 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of at least one amino acid and 0.1 to 100 parts by weight of at least one alkali metal salt of a fatty acid having 8 to 32 carbon atoms or 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of at least one alkali metal salt of an amino acid and 0.1 to 100 parts by weight of at least one fatty acid having 8 to 32 carbon atoms; a polyolefin resin composition comprising the nucleating agent and a polyolefin resin; and a molded object obtained by molding the resin composition.
