PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte film for a fuel cell of solid high-polymer type having an excellent high-temperature strength and allowing enhancement of the power generating performance. SOLUTION: The electrolyte film 2 is composed of a film body 9 consisting of high-polymer ion exchange component and a plurality of stratified silicate particles 10 dispersed in the film body 9 and subjected to such a treatment that metal ions are ion-exchanged with protons, wherein the proton conductivity Pc is conditioned as Pc>0.05 S/cm. |
