PURPOSE: A method for designing a building operated by a computer is provided to arrange a three-dimensional design space operated by the computer upon designing the building, and to overlap or accumulate elements of the building in the design space. CONSTITUTION: Components necessary for making a drawing upon designing a building are resolved into a plane, a solid and a sectional shapes or partial components. And the components are stored in a storage medium. The components stored on a three-dimensional design screen operated by a computer are overlapped or accumulated on each design drawing. When changing the design of whole drawings by modifying an individual drawing, a solid state drawing is modified to automatically modify all related drawings. Designating necessary drawings from a completed final drawing in solid enables the acquisition of a two-dimensional drawing. |
