The tool consists of a bolt, screwed into the central thread bore of the threaded plug, and a lock nut. The bolt has a shoulder and two threads of different diameters and different pitch. The bolt end screwed into the plug thread has a smaller diameter than the section behind the shoulder, and the smaller diameter. The larger diameter section supports the lock nut. Both threads have different pitch but the same pitch direction.
