PURPOSE: A method for estimating the performance and load of a mobile system is provided to estimate the performance and load of a control system, or a processor, according to a standardized algorithm. CONSTITUTION: Values for mobile call traffic or handover per subscriber, location registration, mobility traffic comprising paging, etc., are inputted to a system(S10). A unit load per subscriber is computed according to a standardized algorithm(S11). The number of consuming subscribers for each processor and the capacity of call processing for each processor are calculated(S12). The maximum call processing capacity of the whole system is calculated for the minimum performance among the calculated processor performances(S13).
