PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever supporting structure capable of reducing the number of part items. SOLUTION: Shaft holes 13, 14 are provided in bearing pieces 12a, 12b, a storage hole 29 opening to a lower end is provided in the middle of the bearing piece 12a and an insertion hole 13a with both longitudinal ends in a circular shape is provided outward of the storage hole 29. A supporting shift 15 has a head 15a at the base end, being the same as the insertion hole 13a in shape. When the end of the supporting shaft 15 is fitted into the shaft hole 14 via the shaft hole 13, the head 15a is stored in the storage hole 29. When the supporting shaft 15 is turned by 90 deg. around the shaft center, the head 15a engages with a locking portion 13b around the insertion hole 13a and is prevented from loosening, eliminating the need for fitting a locking member to the end of the supporting shaft 15. A shift lever is turnably supported in a through-hole 16 of the supporting shaft 15 via a pin. The shift lever can be oscillated around the pin to the direction of the shaft center of the supporting shaft 15, and the supporting shaft 15 can be turned around the shaft holes 13, 14 and so the shift lever can be oscillated around the shaft center of the supporting shaft 15.
