PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport dolly allowing transport of materials at the ground scaffold with a minor labor. SOLUTION: The transport dolly 30 is to be put running on the ground scaffold 14 consisting of a plurality of vertical columns 10 and at least two crosswise stays 12 installed approximatelly intersecting the vertical columns and extending in the transverse direction and is equipped with a suspension part 34 installed in the upper part of the dolly body 32 and suspended on the crosswise stays for admitting reciprocating motions in the transverse direction, a placing part 36 installed in the lower part of the dolly body in such a way as overhung approximatelly horizontally, and a brake device 40 installed on the dolly body in such a way as capable of being operated any as desired, wherein the suspension part is composed of a pair of first rollers 42 rotating freely while it pinches from above and below one of the crosswise stays extending upward within the crosswise stays and a second roller 44 rotating freely in such a way that it abuts laterally to the other crosswise stay 12 extending downward within the two crosswise stays 12.
