WATER CLEANING APPARATUS AND FILTER UNIT USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaning apparatus in which a first to a third filters can be repeatedly used respectively to their limits for use and which is economical and inexpensive and whose maintenance can be easily performed. SOLUTION: The water cleaning apparatus 6 is provided with an apparatus body 7 with a filter storing room 30 connected with an inlet 13 and outlet 14 and a filter unit 31 removably stored in the filter storing room. The filter unit is constituted by molding active carbon into a hollow cylindrical shape and has the first filter 32 with a clean water outlet 45 connected with the outlet 14 on its end, the second filter 33 removably covering the part except the clean water outlet of the first filter, and the third hollow filter 34 removably surrounding the first and the second filters. The filter unit is set up in the filter storing room 30 under a condition where the third filter is exposed in the filter storing room and the clean water outlet of the first filter is communicated with the outlet.
