HEAT CONTROLLABLE TUNDISH

摘要

PURPOSE: A heat controllable tundish is provided to control the temperature of molten steel in tundish during continuous casting process stable by impressing electric power to carbon powder lined on the surface of refractory of tundish. CONSTITUTION: The heat controllable tundish includes a tundish(15) lined with refractory including carbon powder(14); a thermocouple(16) mounted inside the tundish; a gauge to which temperature information outputted from the thermocouple is sent; and a power supply(18) which supplies electric power to the carbon powder according to control signal.
