PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus by which an excellent image is obtained by appropriately removing oil on a drum. SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus possesses a transferring device 205 to transfer a toner image developed on a photoreceptive drum 201 to a transfer material at a transferring part, a cleaning device 206 to remove toner on the photoreceptive drum 201, a toner supply means to perform toner supply operation to the cleaning device by forming the toner image on the photoreceptive drum 201 at an image non-forming time and fixing devices (171 and 172) to fix the toner on the transfer material, and a toner supply quantity by the toner supply means is set to be larger in a second mode in which the toner image is formed on the transfer material on which the toner image is fixed again after fixing the toner image formed on the first surface of the transfer material than in a first mode in which the image is formed on the first surface of the transfer material. |
