PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation on joining faces between a metallic front cover and a resin back cover. SOLUTION: As for the back cover 19 for a camera, the joining face 38 is formed on the outer periphery of an opening part 37 for storing the main body part 17, and a projection line 39 projecting ahead along the circumferential edge of the opening part 37 is formed at the inside of the joining face 38. The front cover 16 is constituted of a front wall 44, top and bottom walls 46 and 47 and left and right side walls for covering the front, the top and the bottom, and the left and right sides of the main body part 17. The top and bottom walls 46 and 47 and the trailing end parts of the left and right side walls face the joining face 38, and a chamfer part 74 is formed at the inside. The front cover 18 and the back cover 19 are joined together so that the top and bottom walls and the left and right side walls may be overlaid outside the projection line 39. The thickness of the trailing end part is pressed by the chamfer part 74, then, the top and bottom walls 46 and 47 and the left and right side walls are prevented from projecting outside the joining face 38, and the almost continuous outer periphery is formed.
