PURPOSE: A remote controller using a voice recognition technique is provided to output a control signal as a voice by adding a small voice recognition dedicated chip and a pre-amplifier in a general remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A pre-amplifying unit(10) amplifies a voice signal inputted from a microphone and filters the amplified signal to be suitable for a voice signal band. A codec unit(21) converts an analog voice signal transmitted from the pre-amplifying unit(10) into a digital voice signal, and filters the converted digital voice signal. A DSP(Digital Signal Processor) unit(22) performs a low pass filtering of the digital voice signal transmitted from the codec unit(21) and recognizes the filtered signal using a voice recognition engine, and outputs a control code according to the recognized result. A remote controller logic unit(40) converts the control code received from the DSP unit(22) into an optical signal, and outputs a control signal for remotely controlling electronic devices.
