PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple hanging strap which is easily and surely adjustable in length, is large in the adjustable width thereof and is unable for briefcases and shoulder bags as well. SOLUTION: The hanging strap of a handle or shoulder strap, etc., used for the bags consists of a belt body formed to a belt form and a reel in which this belt body is wound and housed. The belt body is freely drawably out and takably out in the reel.
