PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound having inhibitory activity against sphingosine kinase as an enzyme acting on sphingolipid-degradative systems, thus hopeful about the effect as a drug for various diseases including arteriosclerosis, diabetes, thrombosis, inflammation, immunity, cancer, allergy and coronary artery reconstriction. SOLUTION: This new compound F-16053A is a compound of the formula (I) or a salt thereof, collected from a cultured product of Stereum ochraceoflavum SANK 19400 strain, a kind of filamentous fungi. |
