PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reducing the loads of both a user side and a support side in supporting the operation of a device. SOLUTION: The user of a device is supported by on-line. At this point, a client which is provided with the device is connected to a server for user support which supports the use of the device by on-line, and then the client transmits device information capable of specifying the type of the device and use environment information indicating the use environment of the device to the server for user support. At last, device support information for supporting the use of the device owned by the client is generated by using the information transmitted to the server for user support, and the device support information is transmitted to the client. |
