PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunbeam collecting device to calculate and trace the position of the sun without inputting the data of longitude and latitude. SOLUTION: A collection unit 3 is stopped to move when it is cloudy, and made to move at every settled period of time with the magnitude corresponding to the settled period of time, and when the sun is detected, the direction is amended by a tracing sensor 21 after making move to the estimated position without referring to the longitude and latitude, and the sun is captured at the front of the collection unit 3. In this occasion, if it is judged that the light is coming from the direction different from the estimation, the lighting unit is made to continue the state of stand by at the position of above judgment.
