PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box capable of being used for a larger and heavier TV set by making up for the indefinite strength of a molded pulp product cushioning material. SOLUTION: In the packing box, the TV set 2 is packed within an outer case 1 for packing in such a manner that the molded pulp product cushioning materials are interposed on a bottom side and a top surface side. Two corner posts 9 and 9 formed by folding a corrugated fiberboard material in a triangular shape are interposed between rearward right and left inclined side surfaces 4b and 4b of the rear cover 4 of the TV set 2 and the outer case 1. The first sides 9a and 9a of the corner posts 9 and 9 are brought into surface-contact with the rear surface wall 1b of the outer case 1, and the second sides 9b and 9b of them are brought into surface-contact with the surfaces 4b and 4b. The opening end 9d of the corner post 9 facing the second side 9b is disposed so as to be located in a corner part between the wall 1b and each of the side surface walls 1c and 1d of the outer case 1.
