PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel burner which can prevent the occurrence of smell at extinction with simple constitution by sucking and reserving the liquid fuel remaining in a fuel nozzle at extinction by means of an electric suction device provided in the middle of an oil supply pipe. SOLUTION: In a liquid fuel burner which is equipped with a burner part 32, a vaporizer 26 which supplies this burner part with vaporized gas of liquid fuel, a fuel tank 15 which reserves the liquid fuel, and an electromagnetic pump 16 which pumps up the liquid fuel within this fuel tank and supplies it to the above vaporizer through an oil supply pipe and a fuel nozzle, an electric suction device 46, which sucks the liquid fuel within the above fuel nozzle at the roughly same time with the operation stoppage of the above electromagnetic pump and reserves it once, is provided in the middle of the oil supply pipe between the above electromagnetic pump and the fuel nozzle.
