PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device superior in maintainability and an image forming method which effective use activated carbon for chemical adsorption to surely absorb and treat solvent vapor with respect to a wet picture recorder which forms an image with a developer containing a solvent. SOLUTION: An electrophotographic device is provided with a latent image holding body which holds an electrostatic latent image, a developing device which is arranged in the periphery of the latent image holding body and supplies the developer containing a toner and the solvent to the latent image holding body to develop the electrostatic latent image into a visible image, and a transfer body which is arranged in the periphery of the latent image holding body and transfers the visible image from the latent image holding body to an image transfer medium. Further, this device is provided with a solvent vapor adsorption device 11 where granular activated carbon 32 is placed in sections formed with internal walls 31 like a lattice. |
