PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since a clearance exists in a visual field moving mechanism for moving the visual field of an infrared ray sensor, the visual field position of the infrared ray sensor undesirably moves to deteriorate the detection accuracy of temperature due to the existence of the clearance. SOLUTION: A cooking device includes the infrared ray sensor 7 having the detection visual field to detect infrared ray in the detection visual field and a control means for controlling a magnetron on the basis of the detection result of the infrared ray sensor 7. The infrared ray sensor 7 serves to detect the infrared ray in the detection visual field formed in a heating chamber through an infrared ray detection hole provided on the wall surface of the heating chamber.
