PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block the axial and radial movement of a spider shaft part and abolish a contact place between metals. SOLUTION: A recess 12 of a cup 10 and a protrusion 16 of a pin 9 made of a synthetic resin are kept in a press-contact state by restoring force brought about by the elastic deformation of the small-diameter part 13 of the pin 9. Accordingly, on one hand, the axial movement of the spider shaft part 6 is blocked so as to enable the prevention of the deformation of a seal member 7 and an improvement in sealing performance. On the other hand, the radial movement of the shaft part 6 is blocked so as to enable the prevention of backlash between the shaft part 6 and a needle bearing 5 and an improvement in steering feeling. Additionally, because the contact place between the metals is abolished by means of the pin 9, a reduction in frictional resistance between the cup 10 of the needle bearing 5 and the pin 9 permits steering torque during steering to be reduced.
