PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material comprising a fiber structure having excellent water resistance and heat resistance and excellent in printability, and a composite container and a bag-shaped container both of which can be cooked by boil sterilizing treatment, retort sterilizing treatment, hot water treatment or the like and having aesthetic properties. SOLUTION: A sheetlike cellulose fiber structure with a weight basis of 200g/m2 or less has a layer to be printed comprising a clay coat layer with a Beck smoothness of 50 sec or more on the single surface thereof is used. A resin is infiltrated into all of the fiber layers of the sheetlike cellulose fiber structure to form the packaging material having hot water resistance comprising an impregnated cellulose structure (A) having a layer to be printed. The packaging material is used to provide the composite container or bag-shaped container.
