THIRD PARTY MONITORING SYSTEM FOR SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT, AND METHOD USING THE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the achieved situation of SLA in a fair manner, and to simplify a procedure for allowing a user to receive compensation, when an SLA violation is generated. SOLUTION: Service level proving boxes(SLPBs) 3-1 to 3-3 respectively set as an interface between respective user networks 200-1 to 200-3 and a provider network 100 monitor user packets flowing from the user networks being the origins of transmission to the provider network 100, and those flowing from the provider network 100 to the user networks which are the destinations of transmission, and detect the generation of SLA violation, and transmit the detected result to a monitor center 1. The monitor center 1 performs fact certification of the SLA violation, based on the information from the respective SLPBs 3-1 to 3-3, and performs compensation claim procedures for the user, when the SLA violation is produced according to the SLA contract.
