PURPOSE: A device for expanding a conference call capacity in a switching system is provided to bidirectionally connect at least one conference channel of conference channels of each conference module with a conference channel of other conference module one-to-one, so as to transmit voice information between different modules to expand the conference call capacity. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second conference module(100,200) comprise conference functional units(101, 201) and specific conference channels(CH1-CH63). The conference functional units(101,201) configure conferences of specific channels by an external control signal, and process voice information. The conference channels(CH1-CH63) input and output the voice information with the configured conferences. A switching function block(300) connects at least one conference channel(CH0) of the conference channels(CH0-CH63) if the first conference module(100) with a conference channel(CH0) of the second conference module(200) are switched one-to-one, and switches the rest conference channels(CH1-CH63) with subscriber terminals(#1-#63, #65-#127) one-to-one. Multiple subscriber terminals(400,500) connected to the switching function block(300) one-to-one receive conference call services through the conference channels(CH1-CH63). A controller(600) controls each of the conference functional units(101,201) of the first and the second conference module(100, 200), and configures a conference of a specific channel. A system controller(700) controls the controller(600) and the switching function block(300).
