The gas turbine has a compressor for compressing air as the operating fluid which is mixed with fuel and burned in a burner. There is a cylindrical casing (5) and a transfer member (6) which transfers the operating fluid from the casing to the turbine. An outlet part of the transfer member has a section running parallel to the direction of the turbine shaft. Cooling bores (17) are provided in this section so that their intervals are partially extended. A picture frame part (11) improves the stability close to the outlet of the outlet section. Independent claim describes repair procedure for gas turbine where the outlet part is cut out at a section where the intervals of the cooling bores are extended in order to separate the picture frame part from the transfer member and then weld a previously made spare part onto the cut-out section.
