The present invention relates to an implant for substituting an intervertebral disc removed through surgery. The implant according to the invention is characterised by that it comprises a concentrically arranged outer portion (1) and central portion (3), where said outer portion and central portion are connected by slightly conical segments (2), with both ends of the central portion ending in support tips (4), and where the segments are formed so that they have toothing (6) on their outer surfaces extending form the outer portion (1) to the central portion (3).
