The joint involves the use of an adhesive on the two facing surfaces (e.g. 1a) of the components (1, 2). One component (1) has a wedge-shaped groove (1a), narrower at the top than at the foot. The other component (2) has two webs fitting in this groove and spreading out to provide a positive joint with the side surfaces of the groove.
