摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a coasting controller for a permanent magnet synchronous motor capable of raising an efficiency of another power source in a driver for coupling the synchronous motor to another power source. SOLUTION: The coasting controller for the permanent magnet synchronous motor comprises an inverter 3 for driving the synchronous motor 1, a d-q axis current instructing means 5 for giving a rotation command of the synchronous motor, a current sensor 2 for detecting the current flowing to the motor, and a PWM control means 4 for comparing the current command value given by the d-q axis current instructing means with the current value coordinate- converted from the current value detected by the sensor 2 to give a command of PWM ON/OFF to the inverter 3. In this case, the synchronous motor is coupled to another power source. If a counterelectromotive force generated by regenerating the motor by driving another power source exceeds a voltage allowed to be output from the inverter 3 so that a field-weakening control by a d-axis current is operated, a q-axis current command value obtained by multiplying the d-axis current command value by a coefficient is generated.
