PURPOSE: An underwater pump is provided to minimize the load on an impeller and a motor due to sludge, to avoid clogging in a pump by smoothly circulating water via a high efficiency pump, and to induce the optimal pumping by mixing solid powder with moisture. CONSTITUTION: An underwater pump comprises two pumps in a motor. Impeller casings(3) having impellers(5) are installed at both sides of a motor shaft(13). A weight(70) is installed at one side of the motor shaft. Rotary blade casings embedding rotary blades are installed outside the impeller casings to cut off the sludge. A rotating disk is installed at the lower portion of the motor to pump water in a desired direction. The weight applies a shock to the water and sludge to effectively mix the water with the sludge. Consequently, water is pumped even while the impellers, the motor shaft, and the motor are free from a load.
