PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information on an optical recording medium having the recording protective function from being destroyed by the existing recorder having no recording protective function, when the recording protective function is introduced by extending the existing optical recording system. SOLUTION: The optical disk medium which is provided with the address information (number) different from the address information (number) used for the recording system having no protective function, is used. Since the changing of a hardware or physical specification to realize the recording protective function is almost unnecessary, the recording protective function is easily realized, and also the secure optical recording system is provided without possibility of the erroneous recording, etc., made by the conventional device not recognizing the existence of extended function.
