<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a coordinate detection device which can logically precisely obtain the potential distribution of a resistance film in the coordinate detection device including a resistance film having a point electrode. SOLUTION: The method has a step for modeling at least the point electrode by a delta function by assuming the point electrode to have an infinite minimum area, a step for expressing the point electrode by the finite series approximation of the delta function and a step for analytically obtaining the potential distribution of the resistance film by using a two-dimensional Poisson equation including the point electrode expressed by the finite series approximation of the delta function on the right side and for obtaining potential.</p> |
