PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitor capable of displaying the effect that the abnormality is detected, and announcing the details of the abnormality by voice to properly cope with the information on abnormality, in detecting the abnormality by a terminal device. SOLUTION: The terminal device 2 transmits the effect that the abnormality of fire occurs, to a monitoring center 10 through a public circuit 20 when the abnormality of fire is detected by an installed apparatus 3. The monitoring center 10 has a means 13 receiving the information on the abnormality, analyzing the received contents by a processing part 12, displaying a result of the analyzing on a display part 13a, and outputting the voice 30 from a voice outputting part 13c.
