PORTABLE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal in which working time can be prolonged without sacrifice of convenience. SOLUTION: During waiting time or busy time where there is no key operation nor incoming call, elapse of time being set previously by a user is counted. Upon elapsing the set time, a transition is made to a sleep mode for interrupting power supply to a back light section and an LCD display section. The sleep mode is released by key operation during sleep mode.
