The present invention relates to a method and a system for bleaching of pulp with ozone wherein oxygen is recycled and concentrated. The system comprises an ozone generator (2) for the providing of ozone-containing oxygen; a reactor (3) for bleaching of the pulp; an ozone destruction unit (5) for the destruction of ozone; and an oxygen concentration unit (5) for concentrating oxygen-rich gas, which concentration unit makes use of vacuum- and/or pressure swing adsorption technology and/or membrane technology.
