PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light quantity control method by which the optimization of the emitted light quantity of a light emitting means is realized with simple constitution and to provide an image forming device software and an exclusive cycle used only for optimizing the emitted light quantity of the light emitting means, consisting of a small number of parts, excellently optimizing the emitted light quantity of the light emitting means and having high productivity. SOLUTION: The light quantity is controlled by obtaining the fluctuation amount of the light quantity of an LED from the fluctuation quantity (by as much as ±ΔT) of image position detection timing based on relation between the fluctuation amount of the light quantity of the LED and the fluctuation amount (by as much as ±ΔT) of the image position detection timing. |
