<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an especially low-cost method for manufacturing magnetite having suitable characteristics for the manufacture of a magnetic toner and to provide a toner manufactured by using the above magnetite. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing magnetite, introduction of a silicon component is omitted because the silicon component included in magnetite for a toner conventionally regarded as necessary for thermal stability is found unnecessary. Thus, the magnetite having low silicon content is obtained by the above method.</p> |
